Research Tools & Partners

Digital Hate Review works with organizations whose tools support empirical research on digital hate. The journal's scope encompasses hate speech, conspiracy narratives, extremism, antidemocratic resentment, and mis- and disinformation, as well as related digital phenomena. Together, these resources give DHR authors access to data collection, annotation, and analysis infrastructure for work within this scope.

COOPERATION PARTNERSHIP

AddressHate Annotator

Digital Hate Review is published by AddressHate, which develops research infrastructure for the study of digital hate and related phenomena. This includes the AddressHate Annotator, a browser extension for labeling social media content and AI assistant replies directly on the platforms where they appear while preserving reply chains, co-text, and media for later analysis.

DHR authors conducting empirical research within the journal's scope may request access to the Annotator for the duration of their research project.

Use of the Annotator has no bearing on editorial decisions. Submissions are evaluated independently of whether authors use the tool.
